From estimation to evidence
Most early NZC reports were built on annual generation estimates and design-stage assumptions. As frameworks mature, that's no longer sufficient — and auditors are increasingly asking to see the source data.
What changes with metered evidence
- Performance Ratio calculated against actual irradiance, not nameplate
- Self-consumption ratio recorded per period, per site
- Carbon savings derived from real export and consumption flows
- Trend analysis to spot underperformance early
