Our story
NZC Solar was established to bring the same technical rigour that defines NZC Consultants to the commercial microgeneration market — solar PV, wind, and on-site generation for UK landlords, property funds, and operating companies.
We saw a gap between installation companies that focus on hardware, and advisory firms that focus on strategy, but rarely the same organisation that can design to MCS, run the system on a live monitoring platform, and produce verified carbon data for SECR and NZCBS reporting. NZC Solar bridges that gap.
Every install is designed to meet MCS requirements and the UK Net Zero Carbon Building Standard v1 (March 2026) — so on-site generation is right-sized, compliant, and contributes directly to your building's net zero pathway. Once operational, the system feeds into NZC Portal for live generation tracking, fault alerts, PPA billing, and auditable carbon export recording.
NZC Solar is part of the NZC group alongside NZC Consultants (net zero advisory) and NZC Portal (the compliance and microgeneration platform). Together we cover the full decarbonisation lifecycle — from building assessment and NZCBS strategy through to on-site generation, live monitoring, and verified carbon reporting.
