The three buckets
- Landlord-retained: areas the landlord operates directly (plant rooms, EV charging behind a landlord meter).
- Tenant demise: areas served by tenant sub-meters under a PPA or recharge model.
- Common parts: shared services billed through service charge.
Data needed for each
Each bucket needs its own metering point or a defined apportionment rule, and a documented allocation method that the auditor can follow back to the meter. The platform's Carbon Allocation module records the rules per site and applies them every billing cycle.
